Bullshit? Or Not!
Did KISS really record a secret Christmas album? Well, not exactly.
Legend has it that in late-1977, Casablanca Records founder Neil Bogart was on a monumental coke-fueled binger and ordered Ken Kelly, the artist who painted the infamous Love Gun cover, to "Christmasfy" one single copy of the album.
Kelly originally told Bogart to fuck off, but when he was offered a new Mercedes, he relented. Can't divulge how it wound up in Paco Camino's possession, but the insanely rare artwork had been stashed away in the late, great Ace Frehley's studio for decades.
So, this is the sole print of KISS, Love Gun Christmas, and it's perhaps the most bizarre KISS artifact in existence. Can't make this shit up.
